My Three Favorite Restaurants in Omaha

From its unique history to beautiful parks and downtown area, I feel very fortunate to live in Omaha. As someone who loves to explore my neighborhood and feel part of my community, I enjoy visiting as many new places as I can in Omaha, especially when it comes to food.

Whether you’ve lived here all your life or are coming into town for a meeting at our office or a weekend trip, I wanted to share with you my three favorite restaurants in Omaha.

The Grey Plume

Three words summarize The Grey Plume: duck fat fries. Upscale dining meets innovative cuisine here, which is why this is my go-to dinner choice for a celebratory evening. Featuring unique culinary delights, like wagyu beef tartare and the aforementioned duck fat fries, I am always trying something new here.

I also enjoy the modern, clean decor combined with the farm-to-table approach. It makes for an excellent experience that is hard to replicate at any other restaurant.

Jams American Grill

When I’m more in the mood for a classic, all-American meal, there’s no better place than Jams American Grill. From classics like meatloaf and fish and chips to the more adventurous short rib grilled cheese and crab cake burger, the worst thing about this restaurant is having to choose just one meal.

Jams also has a great brunch menu and Happy Hour. While I mainly visit here for lunch or dinner, this is a great stop for drinks after work or weekend brunch.

Stirnella

Lastly, for a more casual lunch option, I’m a fan of Stirnella. This gastropub offers a local vibe with global influences, which is reflected in their diverse menu. From burrata and deviled eggs to pork belly sliders and shrimp toast, you can quickly fill up on appetizers and sample a little bit of everything if you can’t choose one main course.

Whether I’m meeting up with friends for Happy Hour after work or enjoying a lovely lunch with my family, I always know I’m in for a good meal at Stirnella.

The next time you’re considering a place for lunch or dinner, I recommend you try out one of these three spots. If you want an excuse to visit one of these locations, make an appointment with me to check up on your financial plan and then hop on over afterward!
